Why fallout 76 is good. I think fallout 76 is a great game for what it is but it gets a bad rap because it isnt a traditional fallout game and has an above acceptable amount of bugs. It was such a cheap price that I finally couldnt resist trying it out. Like GTA Online after the big heists update of 2016 it feels like 76 has finally found its footing.
Yesterday I went into Fallout 76 with a clean slate starting a brand new character on PC for the Wastelanders expansion trying to. I have read a few fair reviews though as well as posts from the F76 subreddit so I can. There arent really classes in Fallout 76 nor are there an array of activated skills as we know them in most MMOs so instead what we have is a shooter that places character growth in weapon selection and modification passive skills and perk choices.

All these new people added more life to the wasteland of Fallout 76. Fallout 76 is about the journey and your ability to stay alive in the wasteland and exploring dangerous and usually pretty intriguing locations. It was utter trash at launch but is it good now.
Then just last month Fallout 76 received the One Wasteland update which rebalanced the entire game. Fallout 76 is extraordinarily buggy frequently booting players from servers and even freezing up altogether. On less powerful video cards it can often be a good thing to limit the framerate of games so they dont overheat.
Fallout 76 is certainly worth the price of admission which is quite low these days depending on where you shop. An outage is determined when the number of reports are higher than the baseline represented by the red line. The game feels really good.

The 114 Fallout 76 patch allows unlocked fps and fixes speed hacks. It strikes the delicate balance of a good Bethesda Game Studios title and feels intuitive and inviting. Fallout 76 steeldawn is now on sale and me myself a very single player game but I do love fallout too but hearing the game is a online multiplayer game keeps me waiting for a sale or just wait it until I get it for free or something. They had fairly good reasons for that. This can be very distracting andor affect aim so people will cap the framerate. It seems to still be buggy.

Theres life in the wasteland now and no end of things to do. People will come up with any number of reasons real or imagined for why they do or dont like something. See that is the problem it might be a good game within its own right.
The game definitely couldve waited a few months but we should enjoy it now in its infancy while we help build it into the best it can be. There are critical glitches that keep players from completing specific missions times when quest markers and fast-travel locations wont appear on maps and instances when your character simply falls through the floor and into empty space. If it own it own IP and give it own room to breathe it might of been good and let it grown to something else.
Areas feel real like they were once lived in and there is plenty to explore around each location. The later game starts to feel like a grind but you can still get a good 30-40 hours of great gameplay and story before the looting and Daily Ops challenges start to wear thin. I do agree on the voice acting being rough.
Fallout 76 brings across one of my favorite features from Fallout 4 namely the base building mechanics complete with post-apocalyptic farming crafting and scavenging. In 76 however theyve touched up the graphics added a tone of new and different weapons and a hell of a lot of creatures and have really refined the engine as a whole so hopefully when the new numbered game comes out theyll have more time to focus on the writing and plot and wont have to spend as much time on the engine. I think everyone is a critic.
That makes Fallout 76 less of an RPG and more of a playground with RPG elements. I havent played Fallout 2 or 76 yet but otherwise Ive thoroughly enjoyed every one so far. The level design in Fallout 76 is the best I have ever seen in the Fallout series.
